Hereditary Family Health Issues

Hereditary is defined in Webster's Dictionary as a "Genetically transmitted or transmittable from parent to offspring.  In our family we have 'Diabetes', 'Celiac Sprue', 'Low Thyroid ', 'Fatty Infiltration of the Liver', 'High Blood Pressure', 'Stroke', 'Cancer', 'Congestive Heart Failure', 'Menapause Symptoms', 'Hypertension', 'Epilepsy', 'High Triglycerides', 'Allergies', 'Arthritis', 'Epstein-Barr Virus', 'Reflux', 'Enlongated Stomach', 'Brain Tumor', 'Schizophrenia', 'Paranoia', and  'Manic Depression'.

Our family has spent a lot of time in doctor's offices and with a lot of prayers of medical help we are a surviving family.  We have truly been blessed and understand the statement, "We become strong through our trials."  We recognize different symptoms in our children and grandchildren at an early age so they don't have to suffer like some of us did.

Because of all the health problems we have in our family, we have learned to seek the best medical doctors available and also to eat healthy.  Each health problem has to be treated separately and so family reunions are tricky.

We bring food for diabetics.  We bring food for gluten free.  We bring food that don't cause seizures.  We have to worry about food allergies to peanuts, eggs and milk.   We have to have a low carb diet.  We have food for babies.  Healthy snacks and good wholesome food are a way of life for our family.

Does it sound like I'm complaining?  Well, I'm not.  I have found it is easier to eat properly than to be sick and the best part of all is that we haven't lost too many family members.  Everyone is pretty healthy.  It has taken a lot of work, study, and trial and error to figure out everyones diet but have learned so much.

I have had a lot of experience over the past several years of helping people learn to eat nutritional and I would love to help you too.

Please email me for a medical condition you need to understand more about.

FIBROMYALGIA-Autoimmune Disorder

In understanding the problem and learning how to feed the body proper nutrition you can bring the body to a PH Balance which helps in the healing process.  Everyone is different so you have to find what works best for you.  I like the Isagenix products and have listed them in this article.  I also eat gluten free everyday (for the past 30 years) but I also concentrate on getting the nutrients necessary to maintain health through nutrition.  I have free information on gluten free menu's and foods to avoid, eating out, etc. that I love to share.

Fibromyalgia is an autoimmune disorder of soft tissues.  Symptoms include general body pain, in some parts worse than others, usually brought on by short periods of exercise.  The pain is continuous, interrupts sleep patterns so the body cannot rejuvenate and heal.  Firomyalgia is an acid condition in which the liver is toxic.

Omega 3
The best natural treatments are Omega-3 Fats and MSM and a Liver Cleanse.  The goal is to eat less acidic-ash foods and more alkaline ash foods.  You can choose natural supplements such as IsaOmega Supreme dietary supplement which contains 1200 mg Omega-3 Fatty Acids, EPA 600 mg; DHA 480 mg; Pomegranate seed oil; Evening Primrose seed oil; Borage seed oil and Organic Flax seed oil.  Other ingredients are IsaOmega Natural Antioxidant Complex (di-alpha and natural tocopherols, rosemary extract and ascorbyl palmitate) and natural lemon flavor.

Cleanse for Life in Powder Form

Use Cleanse for Life once or twice a day.  This is a natural product that cleanses the impurities out of the body naturally.  It contains Niacin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and other ingredients.  You drink a lot of water also flushing the body of toxins.

Eat foods that are more alkaline:
*MultiGreens: take up to 4 times daily. (MultiGreens containes wheat and is not gluten free) Isagenix Greens drink powder is a convenient way to receive green foods daily.  Green foods contain phytonutrients that help support optimal health.  There are no artificial flavors or ingredients and contain 67% Vitamin C and 133% Vitamin E.
Drops added to water
make it PH Balanced

Vitamin C, Minerals and Calcium, are important supplements too.

Drinking water that is PH Balanced is important also.  Add drops from the IsaWater Concentrate to everything you drink to keep the PH Balance.

Give your immune system a boost with Isamune Plus.

Frozen Shoulder - Painful

After a busy weekend of helping my daughter and her family move, I could not move my left arm upward.  The first thing I noticed was I couldn't get a gallon of milk out of the refrigerator.  A simple thing of going through the drive through window at the bank was impossible and so I started parking and walking inside.

I kept working and found myself using my right arm more and more.  A few messages helped and a few trips to my chiropractor kept me able to function somewhat.  Finally I went to a orthopedic surgeon who did X-Rays and found there was nothing wrong with the shoulder bones and told me I had "Frozen Shoulder".  I had never heard of this.

I started physical therapy and it was so painful.  I tried to remember to take pain pills before I went but most of the time I was so busy at work that I would forget.  Well, I have been a good patient, trying to do the exercises correctly and as often as I could.  I found some exercises on the internet that were stretching exercises that really helped too.

Well, after 3 weeks at physical therapy the pain has decreased considerably and I can move my arm a lot more.  I am starting to do weight bearing exercises and can lift and work and am so grateful I'm getting my arm movement back.  I feel sorry for everyone I see with a shoulder injury.  I understand your pain.

This experience has made me realize how important exercising and stretching is to keep our bodies limber.  I've always exercised a lot, but when I didn't know what was wrong with my shoulder, I was afraid to exercise it.
